Using a broker is free! The state you live in sets the rates insurance companies can charge. The insurance companies pay us a commision based upon what you purchase from us. This commission comes from their profit - not your pocketbook. Even if you try to do this on your own, you will pay the same rate, waste a lot of your time you could be doing something else and (worst of all), you will end up on marketing lists and brokers will have your 'permission' to call you repeatedly because you granted permission by searching websites.
